Transferring Oil Analysis data to DINGO Products
Introduction:
Accessing results over the internet or via email is a more convenient way to receive results. To access Lube Explorer datafiles through the Internet or via email you will need to modify a few settings within Lube Explorer. Also you will need Winzip or PKUnzip.
Make changes to Lube Explorer
- Start Dingo Lube Explorer
- Select Edit from the Menu
- Select Options
- Select the Modem Setting Tab
- Disable Modem Access – make sure it is not checked
Download Files from the Internet
- Provide a user name and password to BTS (if not already done)
- Go to BTS website – http://www.bentlytribology.com
- Select Customer Support
- Select Protected Area
- Enter user name and password (CASE SENSITIVE)
- Select Company Name
- Select files for download
All files are in the format XXXX1111
Where XXXX is a four letter customer code
And 1111 is a four digit date in the format mmdd
Import files from Internet or Email
- Save .zip file to C:\Program Files\Dingo\Lube Explorer\BTS
- Extract .txt file to C:\Program Files\Dingo\Lube Explorer\BTS\Input
To Finish
- Start Lube Explorer
- Click the Lightning bolt (this will import all txt data files in the Input directory)
This will also move the file from the Input directory to the Output directory
